Avoid the dreaded Ditch Witch this holiday season as the Vecinos del Bosque Neighborhood Association presents its annual Acequia of Lights—a holiday ditch bank stroll lined with hundreds of glowing luminarias and decorations. From 5 to 7:30 p.m., head to the Atrisco Acequia behind the Holy Family Church (562 Atrisco SW) in the South Valley. Music, caroling and hot drinks will be on hand to thrust you into full-blown holiday mode. Admission is free, but bringing canned food or a toy to donate is strongly encouraged.
