It’s come to our attention that some huckster in New Jersey is calling restaurants after they’re reviewed in the Alibi. The scammer congratulates the establishment’s owner, then says the Alibi can provide promotional posters or plaques with the review and photos of the restaurant. The going rate is around $170, secured by credit card. The phone number he leaves is disconnected.This person is not in any way affiliated with the Alibi . Do NOT give these people your credit card number. If you know anyone who runs a restaurant, be a pal and spread the word.
