Yesterday, front page of the Rio Rancho Observer featured Alibi Senior Account Rep Sarah Bonneau. Sarah has captured over 14,000 images of the roadrunners that live around her Corrales home. In the process, she’s created a successful business as an artist and become the Roadrunner Lady—a self-taught roadrunner ornithologist. She’s even convinced Gov. Bill Richardson to create an honorary Roadrunner Day. She’s truly done some amazing work and it’s nice the rest of the world is catching on.Also, the current issue of New Mexico Magazine features cover art by Alibi Graphic Designer Jeff Drew. Jeff created an elaborate collage of faces and images from a myriad of films shot in New Mexico. Jeff has also worked extensively in animation and has produced several short films and national television commercials. He’s currently collaborating on a project with Albuquerque’s Pajama Men. To see some of Jeff’s animation produced for the Alibi, click on “Jeff Drew Pictures” on the left side of your screen. Finally, I, Nick Brown, created the cover art for this month’s issue of Hard, Lumpy Brown Magazine . I honestly didn’t put much heart into it.
