The only creative references I can think of to the number 18 have to do with tire-frame sizes in Southern rap songs and the amount of No. 1 singles by Queen. But that wasn’t the case with Edgar Allan Poe in the 1800s when he penned "The Raven," probably the most famous 18-stanza poem of all time. It also wasn’t the case when the KiMo (423 Central NW) put together a show featuring the work of 18 artists using 18-inch-wide canvases to re-create each stanza from Poe’s masterpiece. It all hangs in the KiMo Theatre’s gallery, and it may just fill you with fantastic terrors never felt before. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Show runs through March 25.
