Learn all about the process of turning wool into warm and comfortable things like sweaters, blankets and quilts during the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden’s (2601 Central NW) Winter Wool Festival. Today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., watch local artisans spin wool, learn about natural dyes extracted from plants and see the many Navajo churro sheep that call Heritage Farm home. Admission to the festival is included with BioPark admission. For more, call the BioPark at 848-7180 or visit cabq.gov/biopark.
