::Making Grown Men Cry Since 1992

Kids love dalmatians. Why? First off, they remind them of firefighters (and all kids want to be fire fighters). Second, they’re goofy and cuddly (at least the cartoon ones are). Third, they have spots (you can’t argue with the cuteness of spots). For these reasons and more, your kids will probably love PLAY Conservatory’s production of Disney’s 101 Dalmatians: Kids . The musical, being staged at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, has more than 70 youths ages 4 to 16. The production is a collaboration between professional theater teachers and students—many from UNM—and the aforementioned gaggle of youngins. Seeing 70 kids dressed up as dalmatians may make your kids jealous, but at least it’ll take their minds off the puppy you neglected to buy them. Performances take place Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 19 and 20, at 2 and 4:30 p.m.
