You’re never too far distanced from the Middle Ages when the bubonic plague pays a visit to our fair state each year. Ditch the Black Death and celebrate olde-tyme European culture when the Santa Fe Renaissance Fair hits El Rancho de las Golondrinas (334 Los Pinos, Exit 276 off I-25). From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, revel in ye olde festivities including Celtic games, costume contests, vendors and live knightly combat. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and teens, and $3 for children. For more, call (505) 471-2261 or visit sfrenfair.org.
