The Big Lebowski is proof enough that bowling and acting pair well. With that in mind, Leisure Bowl is hosting the Southwest Rural Theatre Project’s The Carroll’s Christmas , or Please Do Not Break the Ornaments . Penned by Cliff Gravell, it’s a Dickens-inspired two-act play that company founder Leslie Joy Coleman describes as "a classic Victorian style melodrama" set in an English inn in the 1800s. She says the play will be highly interactive and encourages attendees to "boo and hiss and cheer." The event takes place tonight with a buffet at 6:15 p.m. provided by Golden Corral. The performance starts at 7, and there’s a dessert break at intermission. $25 covers the dinner, dessert and play. Bowling and karaoke will take place afterward. Tickets are on sale now at Leisure Bowl.
