A short drive down to Founders Ranch in the town of Edgewood will net you a trip back to the Old West and a John Wayne-style shot of adrenaline. The Buffalo Range Riders—a local chapter of the Single Action Shooting Society—begin their new season with live shooting demonstrations held the third Saturday of each month through November. You can’t beat their gritty cowboy demeanor each member must dress in authentic 19 th century garb, and each must adopt an alias befitting the Old West (Icelady and Chile Cowboy, to name a couple).
