Tonight, from 5:30 to 9pm, the Alibi is holding Swirl, Swish and Swallow, a holiday wine tasting event with more than 55 excellent wines from all over the world, plus 30 micro-brewed beers, vodkas and flavored brandies. There will also be food samples from Artichoke Cafe, Farina, Jennifer James 101, Casa Vieja, Chocolate Cartel, Van Rixel Brother’s Gelato, La Fonda del Bosque, Marcello’s Chop House, Nob Hill Bar and Grill and Slate Street Cafe.The party is in National Hispanic Cultural Center’s Grand Ballroom in the Education Building on the far west side of the campus. Tickets are available online until 5pm, and available at the door as capacity allows.Dress will be casual, with an emphasis on fun and conversations about cryptozoology. Your ticket is also your chance to win a massive 52” flat screen TV from Paradise Village. Music will be provided by the Martinitones and DJ Cassyle. Come mingle with the Alibi staff, including me.
