This is a baby mourning dove that we rescued from the driveway. Look how ugly his beak is. You’d think a bird that made such a pretty cry would have a more graceful looking beak. Anyway, we’re trying to keep him safe from the neighborhood cats while we hope he eats some seeds and drinks some water. I’d give him some crop milk if I knew how.
