The $700 billion Wall Street bailout finally got through Congress and was quickly signed by President Bush. I was unable to find anything written today that addresses how much cash executives who made risky and damaging decisions would get from the deal. In the article linked to above, it does mention that the cracks down on "golden parachutes" for execs who quit or are fired because of their role in the meltdown. Let’s hope our country doesn’t crumble.
