Another shameless shout-out for Black Moth Super Rainbow, whose “shambling, weirdo fungal pop” has made them my New Favorite Band. Yes, they will be here on Sunday, opening for instrumental hip-hop meister Blockhead and, of course, headliner Aesop Rock. If you’re not sold on this show due to the heavy hip-hop connection, you owe it to yourself to check out the truly odd, melodic and rocking music produced by Pittsburgh’s BMSR.
