Ken Williams, the mayor of Centerton, Arkansas for six years, recently announced that he wasn’t really Ken Williams… he was a Baptist preacher named Don LaRose who had been captured and brainwashed by Satanists 30 years ago. Then, thanks to some truth serum, he slowly got his memory back but decided to run and change his name so the Satanists wouldn’t kill his wife and kids. Now he has a new wife and figures maybe things should just stay like they are.Really? Satanists? Brainwashing? Truth serum? Preachers? Wives? Do all those things really exist? Well, maybe in Arkansas…How did he get caught? The LaRose family traced him as the owner of two websites: donlarose.com and kenwilliamsministries.org. It’s a pretty convoluted story, but fun to untangle. The best part about his story is that it’s completely, absolutely true.
