Oxford, Mississippi’s Colour Revolt will perform at the Lobo Theater on Monday, November 1, along with Glowhouse and Sputniq. Spin.com describes Colour Revolt, who has toured with Dinosaur Jr. and Manchester Orchestra, as a sound that “ebbs and flows with jangly, interwoven guitars and laid-back drums that build to a crescendo complemented by throaty screams and frenzied riffs.” It’s a great bill from three bands who can work melody, energy and ethereal ambience into a seamless landscape of post-rock wonder. All ages, $7 at the door.
