Many thanks to whomever it was at 104.7 The Edge who thought up the brilliant idea for "Wave File Wednesdays"—a mishmash of random songs and audio bits from someone’s (likely pirated) .wav file collection. On the drive to work yesterday, I heard a delightfully entertaining tune which set a joyful tone for my day: "The FCC Song" by Eric Idle (one of the familiar faces from the fantastically funny Monty Python). It’s offensive, it’s gratuitous, it’s awesome. Thank you, The Edge (a Clear Channel Station), for airing this cultural gem which had eluded me for too long … and I forgive you for airing the edited version.
