Don Herbert, better known and adored as television’s Mr. Wizard drained the last few precious drops from his beaker of life yesterday, thus beginning the grand experiment known simply as Death. Though he plumbed the depths and far reaches of mankind’s understanding, even his super-science could not recall his spark when the grim and craggling skeleton hand of eternal sleep beckoned him into the beyond. Rest in peace, scary little TV scientist man.
