Saturday went as expected but Sunday was the day of the underdogs this weekend in the NFL.

On Saturday, the Green Bay Packers overcame a 14 to 0 deficit in the game’s first four minutes to beat the Seattle Seahawks 42-20.

The New England Patriots continued their perfect season by overpowering the Jacksonville Jaguars 31 to 20. Jacksonville played the Pats even during the first half but the Patriot’s offense took over in the second.

On Sunday the San Diego Chargers knocked off the defending Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts 28 to 24. The Colts relied too heavily on their passing game and eventually, were rendered ineffective by the Chargers defense. The Chargers will play New England next week.

In the NFC, the top seeded Cowboys were upset by the wild card New York Giants 21 to 17. Eli Manning wasn’t spectacular but he didn’t turn the ball over and lead a balanced offense while the Giants’ defense held on despite a secondary decimated by injuries. The Giants will head to Green Bay to face the Packers next week.
