My parents having raised me a Jew with pan-denominational leanings, Easter was always, front and center, about uncomfortably lacy dresses and baskets filled with fake grass and egg-shaped candy. Celebrating the reanimated corpse of Jesus? Not so much. In fact, I still don’t get it. He is risen, you say? So … Jesus is a zombie? (That whole eucharist thing isn’t helping, either.) My hope is that taking The Guardian’s Quiz of the Living Dead, quickly followed by Beliefnet’s Jesus Quiz, will help me sort things out by Sunday.
