I got this random and too-late e-mail in my Alibi Letters box the other day. From what I can tell, it’s about a fashion show going down this Wednesday, March 9, at Pulse and Blu Night Club (Central, west of Washington). “Ginger” failed to include the cost of admission, but was quick to assure us all that the experience would be well worth it:
It sure is worth the drive and money. Why? We got a live band (Deep from Within) and DJs rocking out. The clothes are made of plastics, newspapers, magazines, used clothes and new fabrics. We also have bikini lines. [Ed: What?] You will have fun and boogie down to what the club offers.
Channel 27 will be filming it, and it will air on Friday and Saturday. Be part of the event — how often does Albuquerque have a fashion show?
Not nearly enough, Ginger. And hey, it’s not too shabby for a Wednesday night either.
