My last post about free food turned out to be an invitation for our readers to get spyware. Here’s hoping this one goes more smoothly. From 8 p.m. to midnight tonight, Wednesday, June 3, Sonic is giving away free root beer floats to everyone in America.I’m not as cuckoo for Sonic as Darcy Bennet, but I do think the restaurant has the best dollar menu of any major fast food chain. So eat a late dinner tonight. Grab a Jr. Deluxe Burger, Chicken Strip Sandwich and a frosty root beer float and twist again, like you did last summer.
