It’s been a while since hardcore punkers have had something to scream about. Watford, England’s Gallows are a fiery ball of teenage rage and full-on testosterone whose bark matches its growl. Lead singer Frank Carter’s wailing can start to grate, but the wobbly rhythms and gasoline fire-powered riffs are hard-charging and ruthlessly engaging. It’s the kind of music that makes you want to tear your room to shreds and bask in the destruction. Check these guys out at the Launchpad tonight.
