The fine folks at ABQPride just shot us an e-mail with lots of juicy specifics for this weekend's Pride Day at Expo New Mexico. Be sure to scan the schedule below before you hit the fairgrounds on Saturday. As a side note, the Alibi will be participating in the parade, too. Keep your eyes peeled for a spectacular float and “wedding chapel” hosted by your favorite Alibi-sexuals. Come on out and say “howdy!”
At Pride this year we will have four stages of entertainment:
Kareoke Stage – Admin Lot behind Indian School/Pride Archives Building –
12:00 – 5:00pm (best performer will perform on main stage at 5:15pm)
Drag Stage – under the Pavillion Tent – 12:00 – 5:00pm (best performer will perform on main stage at 5:10pm)
Kids Stage (KOB Stage) – (tentatively scheduled) – exotics of the rain forest (12:45 – 2:15pm) – plus the face painters, moon jump and a special suprise from Whole Foods
Main Stage/Boxcar Stage – lineup from 11:45 – 5:30 pm – our headliner Ultra Nate is on at 1:00pm and our featured performer, Gioia, formerly of Expose is on at 3:00pm:

All the buildings at Pridefest will be open 12:00 -6:00pm on Friday.
Friday you can attend the “Meet the VIP’s/Art Show Awards” reception from 6:00-8:00pm at Fine Arts and then the community opening of Hispanic Arts (Delmas Howe, Harmony Hammond, Expression Uncensored shows) at 7:30 – 10:00pm.
The Truth or Consequences of Delmas Howe video will be shown at 8:30pm. Suggested dontation for each event is $10.
