Homeless PersonsÕ Memorial Vigil

As the vast majority of us pencil in family get-togethers for the holiday season, it’s easy to take even those drama-filled spectacles and gifts for granted. For those living on the streets who have passed away during the last year, the New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness holds its annual Homeless Persons’ Memorial Vigil on today. Beginning at 12:45 p.m., gather at the Memorial Wall at Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless (northwest corner of Mountain and First Street). A march proceeds through Downtown, ending with a candlelight vigil from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church (314 Lead SW). For more, e-mail Lisa of the NMCEH at Lisa-H@nmceh.org.
