::Making Grown Men Cry Since 1992

I know it’s difficult to see in the photo, but this is an actual earwig that I captured on the floor of Molly’s office. I saw another one on my front porch the other day, too, but they’ve generally made themselves pretty scarce in Albuquerque. They’re wet weather bugs, so the actual monsoon season this year figures prominently in their current celebrity status. When I was a kid we had them by the millions in a crack in the front porch. Some of them had huge pinchers and would try to pinch you with them, but it never really hurt much. So, yeah. Nice to see the earwigs are back.
