We do it with Cinco de Mayo and St. Patty’s. Why not turn some other country’s semi-significant cultural holiday into an excuse to party?

I say we Americanize (and booze up) the following:

In Mali, it’s the Day of Democracy

In Bangladesh, it’s Independence Day

In Hawaii, it’s Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalaniana’ole Day.

In Vietnam, it’s Youth Day

And that’s just today! So if were looking for a reason to get some alcohol in your system tonight, there’s four kind of bad ones.
