A shameless plug:Lindy Hop is a great, great dance. It has a rich history, is ridiculously fun to do and this Thursday, I’ll teach you how.Starting this Thursday, April 19, I’ll be teaching a basic Lindy Hop lesson at the Heights Community Center at 7 p.m. with a hoppin’ dance to follow from 8 to 10 p.m. It’s drug and alchol-free, all-ages and only $3 to cover the rent. This event is modeled after the popular and established Tuesday night swing dance held at the same time and location (but on Tuesday), we’ll just be dancing something a bit different. Dancers of all levels and abilities are welcome. If you can’t come this week, no worries, we’ll be there every Thursday from now until the end of time.
