Monday is the official first day of fall, making this the official last weekend of summer. Spend it wisely. A Hop Fest JC’s NYPD hosts the Albuquerque Hop Fest tonight from 5 to 9 p.m. to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Admission is $25 per person and includes a sample glass, a pint of Sierra Nevada, a T-shirt and access to samples from 15 national breweries. Hoptastic! Stars Abound If you didn’t know, the movie Crazy Heart —starring Jeff Bridges, Robert Duvall and Maggie Gyllenhaal—is currently filming in New Mexico. Tomorrow, Sept. 20, everyone is invited to attend a free county music event at the Santa Fe Opera as part of filming the motion picture. Seating is first-come, first-served starting at 3 p.m. and events will include a musical performance by Bridges, "surprise celebrity guests" and you (possibly) on the big screen.
