Not much new to report for the weekend, given that most of us good ol’ Americans will be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday. And, given that a former Lobo will be playing, I imagine most of Albuquerque will be tuned in.Ahem … go Bears! Rummage Sale! —Don’t bother driving around for garage sales this weekend, they have all converged onto one location: The Albuquerque Garden Center. Tools, books, dishes, games, jewelry, electronic … the list goes on. The sale is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. If you need more info, call 296-6020. Duet for One to Benefit the National MS Society— This Sunday’s performance (2/4) of Duet for One , written by Tom Kempinski and directed by Paul Ford, at Sol Arts Performance Space will benefit the National MS Society. The play is about a concert violinist who contracts MS and how her world is changed. The performance starts at 2 p.m. and tickets are $10 general, $8 students/seniors. Call 244-0049 for reservations. (Much better than the Super Bowl.)
