Nightfall, Oct. 26-27 For some interactive terror, catch the Park & Ride bus at 8 p.m. at the Albertson’s on Academy and Tramway to the Elena Gallegos Picnic Area and traverse the three haunted houses for $20. Be sure to pay the extra $2 for a dart gun to ward off zombie enemies along the way. Prizes are given away to those who can solve the mystery to the legend of Nightfall. Check here for more info. Endorphin Power Company, Oct. 26-27 Haunted house to raise money for the fight against substance abuse and homelessness at 509 Cardenas SE, sundown to 10 p.m. Get frighten for the cause, only $5. ZooBoo , Oct. 27 Rio Grande Zoo from noon to 4 p.m. This event offers a kid-friendly environment. Admission is $7 for adults and free for up to four costumed kids (with a paying adult). Operation hours are Fridays 6 to 8 p.m. Saturdays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at a cost of $8 for adults and $4 for 12-and-under. This years theme is "Branching Out" in celebration of its organic and sustainable developments.
