A few weeks back, The Alibi reported on a stolen gravestone. We are pleased to announce that the headstone was found last week behind a Safeway on Tramway and Central and had not been damaged or vandalized.We received some very kind words of appreciation from friends and family of the deceased, and we would like to thank KRQE, KOB and the Albuquerque Journal for picking up the story and helping to spread the word. Most importantly, a genuine thanks to the kind citizen who found the headstone and reported it to the media.
