Wow, wow, wow. Last night on live TV, the Americans beat the French in what could be the best swimming relay in history. Not only did Jason Lezak run down Alain Bernard of France to capture the gold and the World Record, the top five teams all swam faster than the previous record. And Phelps is still in the running to capture eight gold medals at one Olympics. It was awesome. Here’s a behind the scenes look with footage from family, coaches and fans in the stands.
