Tonight the Alibi’s Group Hug and Albuquerque Pride are hosting the Pre-Pride Glam Dance Party at the beautiful Casa Esencia (800 Rio Grande NW) in Old Town. This will be an evening filled with tiny bubbles, delicious canapés, shiny tunage and general fabulousness. The entertainment is as follows: La Juala, fronted by sultry international torch singer Georgina, will perform live at the beginning of the evening, and will be followed by DJs Cassyle (c’est moi), Mello, Tahnee and Nicolatron. Naturally, there will be a drag show as well. To get a feel for the general aesthetic, below are some classic glam rock track that we’re likely to play.
