As you know, Proposition 8 passed in California and threatens to amend the state’s constitution so marriage is only legal between a man and a woman. This would overturn California’s Supreme Court’s decision on the issue earlier this year that allowed same-sex couples to marry in the state.I got a call yesterday about a protest happening Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Civic Plaza. It’s part of a national effort by Join the Impact. Call your friends, draw some signs, grab some breakfast burritos and make your way to the plaza to become part of a national voice against discrimination.
