Hot out of my inbox from Elizabeth Gabel—extras casting director: The James Mangold movie, 3:10 to Yuma , is still looking for Asians to work in railroad scenes, Dec. 11-15. These scenes are especially important to director Mangold ( Walk the Line , Girl Interrupted ) because they will depict the authentically correct way Asians were used during the building of the railroads. We want to cast these scenes only with Asians, but are having trouble finding enough Asians available. There will be an Asian casting call on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. at 304 Washington SE. We are looking for men and women of all ages. The movie stars Russell Crowe, Christian Bale and Luke Wilson and is shooting in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area now until the end of January.
