Really, everyone should go to the city’s public meetings to determine where Rapid Ride should be expanded. You’re either already a bus rider and therefore care about such things, or you’re a non-bus rider who could care about such things were there more convenient bus service in your neighborhood. Either way, if you decide to enter the discourse, here’s the information you need for the remaining meetings.

The city got six new Rapid Ride buses at the beginning of the month. Where should they go? Some options include a route from the Montgomery/Tramway Park and Ride to UNM, a route from Coors to Downtown or an expansion of the Central service to Tramway. Show up at one of these meetings:

Thursday, Feb. 15 , 6 p.m., Los Volcanes Senior Center (6500 Los Volcanes NW)

Tuesday, Feb. 20 , 6 p.m., Garfield Middle School (3501 Sixth Street NW)

Wednesday, Feb. 21 , 6 p.m., Singing Arrow Community Center (13001 Singing Arrow SE)

Thursday. Feb. 22 , 6 p.m., James Dwyer Memorial Substation (12700 Montgomery NE)
