For the next couple of weeks, you can see the space station and the space shuttle in the sky above your own backyard… you don’t even need a telescope, though I suppose you could use one if you have one or if you borrow one from your weirdo neighbor. Here’s a chart on NASA’s site to help you figure out when and where to look. If you can’t figure it out, ask a mariner. They’re good with all that “ten degrees north” stuff.
