Matt Brewer, the chef and owner of Café Bodega, passed away on Tuesday. A passionate chef who was committed to using local ingredients, Brewer was also an avid supporter of independent restaurants. His death is a terrible blow to the restaurant community and he will be deeply, sorely missed.
