Downtown ABQ local, old man Peter McCain, passed away this week. Many of you saw Peter ride his bicycle around downtown over the last decade or so. Many of you had good conversations with Peter at Anodyne, Blackbird, Marble St. Brewery, and the Tap Room among others. He always had a smile for you, too. Sweet old Peter. A memorial for Peter will be held at the Chama River Tap Room (around the corner from the Sunshine Theater) next Saturday, March 7th at 4:30. We’ll all have a beer in his honor.I’ll post a photo when I get one.
