Richardson announced minutes ago that he’s dropping out of the presidential race. It’s a surprise to all but “two people close to the governor.” Just this morning, he was talking about how it was “ on to the West.”Word is he’ll throw his support behind Obama (but don’t quote me on that). That’s a stunner, too, as he was on President Bill Clinton’s Cabinet.
