Here is Big Guy, the male of the pair that live in our yard. He comes to our door every morning for meatballs and has become accustomed to me laying on my stomach and getting close to photograph him.Here he is with his "solar panel" exposed (the back of the bird) to warm up at 6:30 a.m.He is well on his way to becoming the single most photographed roadrunner in the world!
