My final task in a successful contest: a young beauty tosses small objects to me which I must catch and collect in one hand. I drop the last – a small camera. After much pleading she agrees to let me have another try. This time I catch it and, in so doing, become the Olympic gold medalist in photography (color). It is now time to call the President. She dials the number and hands me a phone with a red light. I hear the prez on another line talking with someone else. He hangs up and now I don’t know the number. I need to get home anyway. Pa has been spending too much time with his boat, and I am the one who talked him into buying it. He derides his neighbor’s bilge pump.
