I am taken on a car tour of a modern city. A major problem evident to me is the callous disregard for the poorest neighborhoods shown by an adjacent wealthy suburb, which is perched high on an overlooking hill. They have spent millions to build a playground whose main attraction is a giant Trojan elephant. I see the tops of futuristic skyscrapers as I peer over the brow of the hill. We ride down into the heart of the city.
