I am in the ocean hanging on a raft. I paddle back to the beach and find my cooler and guitar. I skip a stone across the water, which seems to slope away from me. I can see the heads of swimmers in the distance and worry that my stone might hit one of them. I find another stone that tuns out to be a sparkling Brazil nut in an open shell. I show it to my brother. Later, as we walk between the beach houses we meet Ellen DeGeneres. She wears a lovely lime green scarf and sunglasses. At the candy counter I meet my boss. He tells us that Ellen’s husband is divorcing her so he can acquire "new, fresh quality time".
