Now that the rains have returned to New Mexico after a lengthy absence, the question becomes: What’s appropriate music to accompany the sound of rain slapping against your swamp cooler? Last night, my ol’ lady opted for Paolo Conte. We haven’t listened to that raspy Italian lounge music for years. I don’t know what the hell he’s rasping about, but it sure sounds interesting. Doesn’t matter much, though. Trust me, this is an ideal soundtrack to wet weather.
