One’s taste in art is subjective. Some people pay 25,000 for a photo of a blue dog squatting in front of a solid green background. Some may pine for the day they will win the lottery to buy a Georgia O’Keeffe poppy. And some chose to purchase giant blue buttocks. However, while tastes differ, I have yet to find one person who is not an art lover when it comes to Julian Beever’s work. His work is detailed, innovative and three dimensional. His medium is sidewalk chalk and his canvas is well, sidewalk. Keep looking through the photos until you get to the one with Batman. And if you’re not impressed, then I am officially retiring as an art critic.
