A “sinister chamber underneath a home” is usually just a fancy way of saying “basement,” but in the case of Gareth Farla and Matthew Lathan it’s more descriptive than fanciful. The two Shropshire men crawled into a hole in the floor one evening and discovered an evil chapel hidden under their home. A staircase at the back of the chamber led to their linen closet.
