Social Hateworking

I am, perhaps, the last person around to have heard of social hateworking.

It took David Byrne to open my eyes. (He also produces hilarious insight on IKEA).

I don’t feel too bad. The
Financial Times wrote about the phenomena last week.

First, Enemybook, which you can run off your Facebook account. Add people as enemies. Tell them they are your enemies. Friend the enemies of your enemies.

Or try Snubster. It can also be attached to Facebook. Tell future enemies that they are “on notice” or “dead to me.”

Last, Hatebook. It’s a totally separate site. “Other fucking idiots” contact you. You can also make an “Evil Map.” But who needs a computer to do that?
