Making Grown Men Cry Since 1992
This is a new Bacon Cheddar Gordita Crunch sitting on my desk and, as you can see, they burned it a little. I’m not saying they burned it intentionally, but neither am I ruling out the possibility. I have long been a fan of Taco Bell’s Double Decker Taco, which is a taco wrapped in a burrito wrapped in paper placed in a bag, and while this creature is something similar it also nearly triggered my gag reflex. I just needed to understand it better, Bill. It has an intense (dare I say extreme?) bacon-ey flavor that I initially attributed to a slathering dollop of yellowish gravy glopping down the taco’s afterdeck. “Bacon Cheese Gravy,” I whispered after making an involuntary wlack wlack in my throat. It wasn’t until I dissected it that I discovered actual bits of bacon nestled between the taco shell and the gummy “flat bread.” Once I’d solved the Mystery of the Bacon Flavoring it was smooth sailing on a sea of lunch, and while it didn’t become an immediate Taco Bell favorite for me, this little fucker is garnering rave reviews from fat people all across the web.
