About a year or two ago when I first saw the motion-activated paper towel dispensers I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Now half the ones I encounter don't work. I suppose that indicates that amidst poor-quality, made-to-be-broken manufacturing these days we are better left to our own devices when seeking paper towels. Down with automatic, up with manual!
